Turkish warplanes bomb targets in Kurdistan’s Duhok

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Turkish warplanes on Saturday bombed targets in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok province, according to Iraqi media.

Sites belonging to Ankara’s arch-enemy, the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK), were bombed by Turkish warplanes in the district of Amedi, Shafaq news reported, citing sources as saying.

Amedi’s Plava and Kuherzi villages were hit by a series of consecutive airstrikes.

It was not immediately clear whether it caused casualties or not. Damages have yet to be known.
