SULAIMANI (ESTA) — One was reported killed and two others injured after a gunfight in Koya, Erbil province, on Monday.
Earlier this morning a gunfight erupted between police and several people among whom one claimed to be a suspect.
“The gunfight occurred in Azadi police station following a quarrel between several locals and police,” a spokesperson for Koya Health, Shirwan Jalal, said.
“A citizen was killed and two police officers were injured as a result,” He added.
