PUK official says autocracy must be terminated otherwise there would be consequences

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Autocracy must be terminated in the Kurdistan Region otherwise there would be “negative” consequences, said leadership member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Karim Khan Bradosti on Tuesday.

Bradosti’s words came following the statement of the PUK governmental team against the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Sunday.

The PUK governmental team’s statement named the ninth cabinet of the (KRG) head by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, as the “worst” cabinet throughout the history of Kurdistan.

Bradosti in a Facebook post reiterated his support for the PUK governmental team and its recent statement.

The PUK team “accused” the KRG of systematically putting Sulaimani under blockade, manipulating the oil revenue of the Kurdistan Region, withholding the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) forces, and furthermore.

Moreover, it further stated that the PUK is ready to carry out a clean and pure election so that the election will secure the rights of different people and components in the Kurdistan Region.
