SULAIMANI (ESTA) — foggy weather on Monday forced Baghdad international airport to suspend all flights.
“All air traffic movement has been halted,” the airport in a statement said, adding that “due to bad weather and severe decrease in visibility.”
Visibility reached less than 100 meters, making it difficult for the aircrafts to have the access to the airport’s runways, according to the statement.
“Passengers will be informed of any developments related to air traffic at the airport,” the statement added.
