Kurdistan Counter Terrorism Group detains five wanted terrorists – statement

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Counter Terrorism Group (CTG) announced that it detained five terrorists on Thursday.

CTG in a statement said five terrorists were extradited to the Iraqi security forces to face prosecutions after they were detained.

“On August 8, 2022, five wanted terrorists from Mosul investigation court for involving in terrorism actions have been arrested by the Kurdistan Region Counter Terrorism Group,” it said.

“They were extradited to the Iraqi security forces in order to be prosecuted and face the law” it added.
