Iranian forces wound man on Kurdistan Region border: reporter

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iranian border guards shot a Kurdish civilian on the Kurdistan Region’s border near Iran, Esta Media Network reporter said on Tuesday.

Esta’s reporter in Ranya said Iranian border guards wounded a 27-year-old worker on the Kurdistan Region’s border in the district of Qaladize.

The man, named as Rasul Abdulrahma, was transferred to Qaladize hospital, she added.

Head of Qaladize hospital’s administrative Othman Ahmed said the man was hit by two bullets in Shene village in the district.

“The bullets hit his leg and shoulder, but his condition is stable,” Ahmed told Esta Media Network.
