PKK accuses KDP of helping Turkish military in attacks on its fighters

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on Monday accused forces affiliated to the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) of helping Turkey in attacks on its bases in the Region.

The People’s Defense Forces (HPG), the PKK military wing, said a “spy plane” of the KDP forces flew over Snin area in Khwakwrk region at 10:00 a.m. on September 26.

“The Turkish warplanes bombed the area later three times,” the HPG stated.

The HPG also accused the KDP forces of helping the Turkish military in surrounding its fighters.

“They have also cleared roads in several areas for occupation of those forces,” the HPG said. “They have also attacked the guerrilla forces and martyred several guerrillas several times.”
