SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Vim Foundation on Sunday announced the “biggest Startup Initiative program” in the Middle East to provide support for entrepreneurs who face obstacles in their business.
Sulaimani-based Vim Foundation said in a statement that it would launch the second round of the Startup Initiative Program in the Kurdistan Region, opening registration until September 9.
“Vim Startup Initiative Program is one of Vim Foundation’s projects that provides administrative and financial support to local entrepreneurs who own a business or a business idea but cannot pursue and advance forward due to barricades,” the foundation said.
The second round, as the foundation stated, would be running in a “much broader form” in the provinces of Sulaimani, Erbil, Duhok, Halabja and Kirkuk.
It further said the entrepreneurs would participate in various trainings dedicated to the methods of management.
Vim Foundation called on people who own a business or business idea but face financial and administrative barriers to take part in the program.
It said it was able to support several startups during the first round of the program, and helped them accomplish their goals so as to succeed in their business and use their abilities to resume and advance their efforts and ideas.
