Iranian forces shot dead three Kurdish workers in Tehran: watchdog

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iranian security forces killed three Kurdish workers in Tehran province late on Saturday, according to a rights watchdog.

Hengaw Organization for Human Rights said Iranian forces opened fire at several vehicles carrying Kurdish laborers from Saqqez city in Eslamshahr city in Tehran province on Saturday night.

At least three workers were killed in one of the vehicles, said the organization, which monitors human rights abuses in Iranian Kurdistan.

It named two of the laborers as Rizgar Husseini and Ahmed.

It is still unclear why the vehicles came under attack.
