SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A “spy” was arrested in the house of late president Mam Jalal in Sulaimani’s Dabashan area, media affiliated to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) reported on Thursday.

“A spy who confessed to working for former co-leader of the PUK was detained in Mam Jalal’s house in Dabashan,” PUK media cited a senior source within the party as saying, referring to Lahur Sheikh Jangi.

The source told PUK media that the “spy” was used for “special purposes and to hit the PUK’s high interests”.

“We will release more information about this case soon,” the source added.
