SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Two civilians were killed in a Turkish drone attack in Kobani on Saturday, a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spokesman said.

Head of SDF Press Center Farhad Shami said a Turkish drone struck a house in Kobani city in northern Syria on Saturday.

Seven other civilians were wounded in the attack, the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates Region said in a statement.

Turkey intermittently carries out airstrikes against Kurdish fighters in Syria.

In October, two civilians and three SDF fighters were killed in two separate Turkish drone strikes in Kobani.

Turkey views the SDF and the People’s Protection Units (YPG) as “terrorist organizations”.

Turkish forces have launched three incursions in the last five years, seizing hundreds of kilometers of border strip and pushing around 30 km (20 miles) into northern Syria.
