KRG PM lays foundation stone for Darbandi Rania bridge

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani laid the foundation stone for Darbandi Rania bridge on Tuesday.

The prime minister said in a tweet that the project which will be implemented in Rania district in north of Sulaimani cost $9 million.

“We are intent on helping Raparin administration realize its economic potential,” Barzani tweeted. “I look forward to hearing firsthand what more we can do.”

Despite economic crisis, the KRG has announced the construction of several projects in the Region. The prime minister had laid the foundation stones for a 100-bed hospital in Deraluk sub-district and the 100-meter highway project in Sulaimani.
