335 people diagnosed with COVID-19 in Kurdistan Region: health ministry

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — As many as 335 people have been infected with coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region in the previous 24 hours, the ministry of health said on Wednesday.

The Region’s health ministry recorded 158 cases in Erbil, 72 in Sulaimani, 84 in Duhok, 16 in Garmian and five in Raparin.

The ministry added that four others patients had died from the virus in the previous 24 hours, while 111 others had recovered.

The Kurdistan Region has registered 111,516 cases of the coronavirus, with 3,546 deaths and 104,884 recoveries, according to the ministry’s figures.
