SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority said it would suspend operation of “Fly Baghdad” Airline due to non-compliance with financial and legal obligations.
In a statement, the Iraqi civil aviation authority said the suspension would start on Tuesday until further notice.
“We regret that one of the national carriers, Fly Baghdad, has not complied with its financial and legal obligations, which led to the suspension of its flights from next Tuesday until further notice,” said the aviation.
It added that the airline’s company would be allowed to resume flights after the issue was resolved.
Fly Baghdad based in the Iraqi capital Baghdad launched in 2015. The airline has two Boeing 737-700, one Boeing 737-800 and one bombardier CRJ-200.
