Iraq’s national wisdom movement leader visits Sulaimani

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim arrived in Sulaimani city on Saturday to participate in Martyrs’ Day of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Hakim visited the tomb of former Iraqi President and Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) leader Mam Jalal Talabani in Sulaimani city and laid a wreath on his tomb.

The leader of Hikmah movement met with PUK co-leaders Bafel Talabani and Lahur Sheikh Jangi during his visit.

He will hold a forum on the event of Martyrs’ Day of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region at Art Palace (Talary Hunar) in Sulaimani city on Saturday evening. The PUK co-leader Talabani is expected to attend the event.
