ISIS militants kidnap Kurdish shepherd in Kifri district: reporter

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Islamic State (ISIS) militants kidnapped a Kurdish shepherd in Kifri district in the Kurdistan Region’s Garmian administration on Thursday, Esta Media Network reporter said on Friday.

The reporter in Garmian said the militants kidnapped the shepherd in an area between Palkana and Zinana in Kifri district. 

“His destiny is unclear,” the reporter added.

Despite operations by Iraqi and Kurdish forces, ISIS remnants are still active and carry out attacks against civilians and security forces in disputed areas claimed by both Baghdad and Erbil.
