SULAIMANI – (ESTA) A spokeswoman for the IHEC said the final results would be announced in the next few days.
Jumana al-Ghalai, the spokeswoman of the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), has announced the final results of the sixth round of parliamentary elections in the next few days.
“Before the announcement of the final results, we invite all candidates to bring a four-terabyte SSD hard drive and visit the constituency where they are running so that the commission can give them voting reports and data and compare them with their vote results,” she said.
Also, Jumana al-Ghalai added that “voters were not aware that some voters voted for a final candidate with an adjacent number. The election process was conducted in accordance with international standards and there was no fraud.”.
She said, “The commission is processing the complaints received from political parties.”.
