SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The Minister of Migration of Iraq announced the voluntary return of 463 refugees to their areas in Sinjar.
Iraqi Minister of Migration and Refugees، Ivan Fayeq، said that “463 refugees from Sharia camp in Duhok province have voluntarily returned to their areas in Sinjar district of Nineveh province.”.
“The returned families will be covered by return grants and assistance، according to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Sudani’s instructions to end the refugee case and close the camps،” she said.
Ivan Fayeq said، “The process of relocating the families and their belongings was carried out in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and in coordination with the security forces and administrative officials of Duhok and Nineveh provinces.
