SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The presidency of the Kurdistan Region has announced that October 20, 2024 will be the date of the election.
Dilshad Shahab, the spokesman of the presidency of the Kurdistan Region in a news conference, has announced the date of the general election for the sixth session of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) parliament.
“All parties will cooperate with the commission to conduct the election and the decree will be implemented from the date of issuance and published in the official gazette,” he said.
The presidency of the Kurdistan Region has issued four decrees to hold the sixth session of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) parliamentary election.
The political parties in the Kurdistan Region are competing for 100 seats in the Kurdistan Parliament.
