SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), visited Sheikh Adham Barzani in Sulaimani.
The meeting discussed the situation in the Kurdistan Region and the issue of the Kurdistan parliamentary election and emphasized the success of national efforts to achieve changes in the governance process and serve the citizens.
President Bafel Jalal Talabani said that, “all those forces and parties interested in the success of the Kurdistan Region’s experience and the establishment of a healthy governance should stand against postponing the election and creating obstacles in front of this important and democratic process.”.
The meeting also emphasized the development of bilateral relations and unification of national efforts to end conflicts and protect the constitutional rights of the Kurdish people within the framework of the federal government.
