SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani inaugurated the KV132 Bazian-Ranya electricity line project in the presence of Kamal Mohammed، Minister of Electricity، and Hiwa Qarani، Supervisor of the Raperin Administration.
KV132 Bazian-Ranya power line is an important strategic project for the Raperin region that started in 2021 and was allocated about 34 billion dinars.
In addition to being able to transmit 450 MW of electricity، the line will reduce the amount of wasted electricity. Due to the old electricity transmission networks، a significant amount of electricity produced is wasted daily.
