The first group of Kurdistan pilgrims leaves for Saudi Arabia

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The first group of 144 Kurdistan Region pilgrims will leave for Saudi Arabia today from Sulaimani International Airport.

Pilgrims from Sulaimani and surrounding areas are leaving for Saudi Arabia in six convoys. All pilgrims will arrive by May 31، and the number of pilgrims this year is 1210; 628 of them are men and 541 are women.

Several pilgrims who spoke to Esta Media Network expressed their happiness to go for Haj and said that “they have been registered for many years and are waiting for this holy day.”.
