SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The spokesman of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said that “the governor of Kirkuk will be the governor of all parties and a capable governor should be appointed for Kirkuk.”.
Sadi Ahmad Pira, the spokesman of the PUK, said in a journal conference that “the PUK and KDP should agree with the Arab and Turkmen parties to appoint a capable and experienced governor who does not listen to the opportunists of Kirkuk.”.
“I hope and am sure that the problem of Kirkuk will be resolved in a short time, if we look at the situation in Palkana and Sargaran, we see imported Arabs on a battlefield against the rightful Kurds. Any statements made should take that situation into account.”.
The spokesman stressed that “the appointment of the governor of Kirkuk is very important for the situation in Kirkuk and is an inevitable need.”.
