Garmian administration declared three days of public mourning

SULAIMANI – (ESTA) Garmian administration declared public mourning for three days for the tragic incident on the Kalar – Kafri road.

Four students were died and seven others injured when a car overturned on the road between Kalar and Kafri in Garmian province, Garmian administration said in a statement, “Public mourning has been declared in Garmian for three days.”.

The statement said that “the incident has caused concern and sadness to all sections of society and the people of Garmian and Kurdistan, this incident is a matter of deep sorrow for everyone. As a condolence to the families of the victims of this tragic incident, we declare public mourning for three days in Garmian administration.”.

This afternoon Garmian traffic spokesman, Saman Ali announced, “Four students were died and other students, a teacher and the driver of the bus were injured when a minibus lost control and overturned on the main road Kalar – Kafri near Hasira village”.
