SULAIMANI – (ESTA) The PUK leader on International Workers’ Day said, “They are a major pillar of our society to build a brighter future.”.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), said in a message on the occasion of International Workers’ Day, “I warmly congratulate the workers of Kurdistan and wish them safety and a better life.”.
“Kurdistan workers have played an important and influential role in the reconstruction and development of the Kurdistan Region and are a major pillar of our society to build a brighter future” he said.
Also, he added that “we respect their position and efforts, applaud their hard work and salute the souls of those workers who died while working.”.
Talabani mentioned, “The PUK has grown from among the workers and peasants, has not forgotten the history full of sovereignty and sacrifice and considers itself part of you proudly. It considers it its duty to work for your rights and improve your lives.”.
