Grenade injures three people in Sulaimani province – reporter

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Three people were wounded after a grenade exploded in a house in Sharazoor district in southeast of Sulaimani city, according to Esta’s reporter.

Citing their family, Esta Media Network’s reporter Bzhar Dabagh said the three including a father and two children were injured after the grenade hidden under an oil container exploded in their house in Hasil village in Sharazoor on Friday evening.

The man was an officer of the Zeravani forces, affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

“The explosion occurred when the man lifted the oil container near their bathroom inside the house,” the reporter said.

They transferred to Shar Hospital in Sulaimani city after they received preliminary treatment in a hospital in the district.

Security forces have launched an investigation into the incident, according the reporter.
