SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani is scheduled to make his first visit to Washington D.C. since taking on the role of party president
Talabani will be on the stage on October 25, 2023, during a distinguished occasion hosted by Jonathan Lord, a Senior Fellow and Director of the Middle East Security Program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS).
During the event, Talabani addressed a range of crucial topics, focusing primarily on the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
He will also shed light on the intricate relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Federal Government of Iraq, delving into the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
