Iraq’s Halbousi meets Erdogan to discuss bilateral cooperation

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammed al-Halbousi, held a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Saturday.

The meeting aimed to discuss the bolstering of cooperation and coordination between the two nations, according to a statement by the media office of the Speaker of the Parliament.

The statement highlighted that the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination between Iraq and Turkey, as well as addressing the current regional situation and various topics of mutual interest.
