SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A member of the Kurdistan Region Security Service (Asayish) was gunned down on Friday night in Sulaimani’s Halabja.
The Asayih member was killed by an armed motorcyclist, according to eyewitnesses.
The incident occurred while Asaysih has reportedly installed a temporary roadblock.
Asayish has yet to comment.
The status of the perpetrator remained unclear, he immediately fled from the crime scene.
