SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President Bafel Talabani met with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani on Monday.
Leading a senior delegation, PUK’s Talabani arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, earlier this morning on an unannounced visit, according to information obtained by Esta.
He has also met with Prime Minister Sudani in light of the recent developments in the country.
Official statements are likely to be released briefly regarding Talabani’s and Sudani’s meeting.
