Former head of Parastin Agency was killed in car explosion: source

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The former head of the Kurdistan Region’s Information and Protection/Protection (Parastin) intelligence organization was killed in a car explosion on Sunday.

An informed source told Esta Media Network that Colonel Muhammed Mirza Sndi was killed after his car exploded in Duhok’s Zakho.

Esta has learned that Sndi has been sent to Baghdad for two years, however, his car exploded due to an unclear reason at around 9:10 pm local time.

Parastin is a well-known intelligence unit of Kurdistan affiliated with the ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
