SULAIMANI (ESTA) — At least eight were arrested by the Iraqi forces on Saturday on suspected link to the Islamic State (ISIS) terror group.
The suspects were arrested in separate operations, the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate said in a statement.
“The operations took place in the provinces of Baghdad, Kirkuk, and Anbar,” the statement said.
“The security operations were carried out separately and based on intelligence information, and were conducted through the setting up of “effective ambushes,” the statement added.
