SULAIMANI (ESTA) — A drug dealer was arrested in Sulaimani on Sunday who had escaped police custody.
The convict was arrested in Sulaimani City, the security forces (Asayish) in a statement said.
“He escaped police custody on Saturday in the Khanaqin district of the Diyala province,” the statement said.
“It takes less than 24 hours to find and arrest the fugitive,” the statement added.
It also stated that the convict engaged in a gunfight with Asaysih.
“He was injured as a result.”
