SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani once again warned officials to act responsibly to fulfill citizens’ demands otherwise they would be held accountable, according to a statement.
The Deputy Prime Minister on Tuesday met with the head of government offices, as well as supervisors of the Garmian administration, discussing running people’s affairs in the bureaucracies and services situation in the area, his office said in a statement.
“Negligence and shortcomings are longer acceptable in running citizens’ affairs, including the investors,” the Deputy Prime Minister said amid the meeting.
“All of the issues and problems that are grasped Garmian administration should be resolved as soon as possible,” he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister also raised the alarm once again regarding the public’s complaints on bureaucracies’ inefficiency and slowness in running their affairs, saying “unacceptable”.
“Any official and government director who is negligent in running the citizens’ affairs, or impedes the investment projects, will be held accountable,” he added.
Last Wednesday, the Deputy Prime Minister had similar scenes with officials in the Raparin administration, echoing similar words.
