Deputy Prime Minister says ‘unacceptable’ if any government officials play negligence

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Deputy Prime Minster Qubad Talabani on Wednesday said “unacceptable” regarding bureaucracies’ carelessness in running people’s affairs.

“Today, I met with local office holders of the Kurdistan Region’s Raparin administration,” the Deputy Prime Minister said in a post to his Facebook page.

“We discussed the complaints submitted by the people and investors concerning carelessness and slowness of some of the government’s directorates in running affairs,” He said.

“This situation is no longer acceptable,” He added.

The Deputy Prime Minister also pointed out that he had formed a special committee under his auspices in collaboration with directorates and governmental offices of Raparin.

The committee aims to complete the preparations to launch several infrastructure projects in the area, according to his words.

“Any government official plays negligence or obstructs people’s as well as investors’ affairs, will be held accountable,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.
