Deminers destroy ‘large piece’ of unexploded ordnance in Duhok

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Deminers destroyed a “large piece'” of an unexploded bomb in the Chamanke subdistrict of Duhok province.

The Kurdistan Region landmine affairs agency on Tuesday said it had found a large unexploded bomb in the district.

The bomb was detonated by the agency’s specialists and safely disposed of it.
