SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Erbil Police on Saturday announced that it had arrested two suspects over a shooting incident that caused casualties.
A statement released by the General Directorate of Erbil Police stated that two suspects have shot a driver of a high-branded vehicle and they got him injured in Erbil’s Shaqlawa district.
It added that police confiscated two pistols that belonged to the suspects after they were arrested.
Police investigations are still underway, however, the statement did not offer further details on whether the suspects and the injured have any old feud or not.
The suspects were handed to the judiciary and they are charged per article 405 in the Iraqi penal code, according to the statement.
