SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Head of the Supreme Political and Interest Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Kosrat Rasoul Ali, visited Hero Ibrahim Ahmed, a senior member of the council in Sulaimani on Sunday.
“During his visit, Ali expressed his happiness over Hero Ibrahim Ahmed’s good health, while also congratulating her for the eves of the 1991 Kurdish uprising anniversary and Newroz celebration which are two prominent national occasions,” a statement released by the PUK said.
“In another part of his remarks, Ali highlighted Hero Khan’s role as Female Peshmerga, struggler, and hero, who had played a significant role in the mountains struggle against the former Iraqi regime and was a strong supporter of the late leader Mam Jalal Talabani,” it added.
