SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani will partake in the annual Munich Security Conference, the state news agency INA on Thursday reported.
Heading a senior government delegation Sudani left the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to Germany to participate in the 59th Munich Security Conference, the INA added, citing a statement from Sudani’s office.
The Munich Security Conference is set to begin Friday during which the world leaders are expected to address the security and military challenges in the world.
The last time when Sudani had been in Germany was in the midst of last January ere he met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in the German capital, Berlin.
Sudani had also met with a number of German officials and signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s Siemens Energy company.
