SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Qubad Talabani and the director of Kurdistan’s information agency, Jalal Sheikh Naji, on Monday discussed the security developments and the necessity of assistance between Kurdistan and Baghdad intelligence agencies.
Talabani and Naji met at the headquarters of the information agency, discussing the political and security developments, said a statement following the meeting.
The two officials stressed unifying efforts and coordination between the Kurdistan Region security forces to protect Kurdistan’s security, the statement added.
They also importantly touched upon the necessity of assistance between Kurdistan and Baghdad intelligence agencies, placing emphasis on its endurance to combat terror and threats including further enhancing stability.
Moreover, another part of the meeting was dedicated to several issues on the security situation, issuing “required” decisions, the statement said without offering further details.
