SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Female Christian activist Slvana Dlshad has been detained by the security forces in Erbil for two days, according to information Esta Media Network has obtained.
The security forces jailed Dlshad in Erbil reform prison, said Esta reporter, adding she has been detained over alleged “misusing” of communication devices.
Dlshad reportedly used to be an ex-adviser in the Kurdistan Region presidency.
So far, the security forces and Erbil officials have yet to comment on why Dlshad has been detained, meanwhile, the reason remained unclear.
