Kurdistan Judicial Council bans judges from using social media

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Kurdistan Region Judicial Council banned the judges from using social media, an official document has shown.

The Judicial Council banned the judges from using social media, saying “it doesn’t suit with the value of the judges’ career,” according to the document seen by Esta Media Network.

The council has shown consent to ban the judges from publishing personal photo shots, statement, and comment via social media.

It also said that any judges who “violate the decision will face legal action.”
