SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Prime Minister of Iraq on Tuesday ordered the suspension of the Diwaniyah governor, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported.
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, issued an order to suspend the Governor of Diwaniyah, the agency said.
INA further reported that “This decision came due to the investigative procedures on suspicions of administrative and financial corruption, which the competent courts are reviewing.”
