SULAIMANI (ESTA) — An Iraqi court on Monday issued an arrest warrant against an adviser of the Federal Ministry of oil.

The adviser is charged with “deliberate damage” to money and public interest, the Iraqi commission of integrity said.

The decision has been issued by the investigation department of Iraq’s Rasafa court, according to the commission.

The official who has been charged is responsible for “delays ” in the shipment of crude oil that was exported by the Iraqi National Organization Company for oil marketing (SOMO) between 2016 and 2017, it added.
