Rockets target U.S.-led international coalition site in Rojava

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Wednesday that rockets targeted the international coalition forces site in Syria’s Rojava without causing casualties.

Two rockets targeted the international coalition led by the U.S. at the Conoco support site in northeast Syria (Rojava), according to U.S. CENTCOM.

No injuries or damage were reported in the attack. A third unfired rocket was found nearby by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after reaching the targeted site.

“Attacks of this kind place coalition forces and the civilian populace at risk and undermine the hard-earned stability and security of Syria and the region,” said Col. Joe Buccino, the spokesman for CENTCOM.
