One million trees to be planted in Sulaimani

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Local authorities in Sulaimani on Tuesday announced a national campaign of planting one million trees.

The campaign came after a recommendation made by Bafel Talabani, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) President.

The campaign is set to commence on Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. of local time. Trees will be planted in Sulaimani Goizha as well as Azmar mountains.

Back then, Talabani, on the 47^th anniversary of the PUK foundation in June announced one million trees planting campaign across the Kurdistan Region.
