SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Sulaimani police on Tuesday said it arrested seven suspects accused of sexually assaulting a girl.
Sulaimani General Directorate of Police in a statement revealed they arrested the suspects after her family had reported their daughter missing.
She was reportedly 14 years old and had been sexually abused by one of his male friends after she visited her home, However, he handed her over to another man. She was finally sexually assaulted by seven people.
The incident occurred after her male friend who first sexually abused her, had obtained naked pictures of the victim, blackmailing her to publish them via TikTok if the girl rejects to visit her.
The girl is currently under medical care and later will be sent to a dedicate shelter, according to police.
