SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Spokesman of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has again announced that will not allow the Region’s territory to be used for threats.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday spokesman of the KRG Jotiar Adil told the reporters that “We will not allow the Region’s territory to be used for threats.”
The Kurdish official has also mentioned that they are in contact with the Federal government and neighboring countries on that issue, however, he did not give further specifications.
Recently, both Iran and Turkey have ramped up aerial attacks on the Kurdistan Region, targeting bases of Kurdish militant groups who Ankara and Teheran regard as terrorists.
“Both Iraq and Collations must have a serious stance on the attacks which target civilians,” The spokesman added.
