Deputy Premier meets KRG Minister of State for Minority Affairs

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — The Deputy of the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister on Tuesday met with the Minister of State for Minority Affairs in Erbil.

Deputy Primer Qubad Talabani has welcomed Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Minister for Minority Affairs Aydin Maruf Selim, said a statement from the Premier’s office.

The two sides met at the politburo of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in the Region’s capital where they discussed the rights of minorities, ensuring that they are secured, according to the statement.

Apart from this, the officials have also discussed the current situation of the Kurdistan Region, the office in the statement added but did not provide further details.
