Gulf Air flight makes emergency landing at Erbil International Airport

SULAIMANI (ESTA) — Flight No. GF19 of Gulf Air from Bahrain International Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris on Tuesday made emergency land in Erbil, following a crew member suffering a heart attack.

The airline said the heart attack led to the crew members diverting the flight and landing in Erbil.

The flight resumed to Paris as scheduled after the crew member who immediately died due to the heart attack was transferred to Erbil forensic medicine, according to local authorities.
